My Story
About me? Hmmm. Well, I obviously enjoy playing the sims. Started with S1, moved to S2, and here we are at S3. I'm not as crazy about the gameplay in Sims 3 but I love the creativity options the game allows. Hmmm.. that's boring. What else? About me... I love to write. I love to talk. I love my cats. In fact, that's where my screen name comes from. In Welsh mythology, Dylan was a God of the Sea... long story short, when my cat was little, I called him Dylan the sea monster. He actually hates water, as you can imagine. Like I said, there's a long story behind it but I won't bore you now. I wish I could have a paragraph break right about now but it's not allowed... I work full time, play the sims on the weekend in lieu of housework or errands. I also watch a lot of TV and write for a local magazine. And when I'm not doing any of that stuff, I'm usually here or somewhere else online... I suppose that's about as personal as I want to get with 350,000 strangers. PS - if you see something you like, feel free to give it a recommendation! Thanks!

Finished the Asylum challenge this weekend, final chapter of my story is available in the Asylum Challenge thread (creative corner forum), as well as here on my studio page.

Started a new story tonight... it could be seen as controverial as it deals with g a y marriage and male pregnancy. My thoughts are this: If you don't like it, don't read it. Otherwise, if you support it, give it a recommendation so that this story and others like it can continue.

As you can see from my studio, there are now 9 chapters of the asylum story... the 9th was sort of unplanned and thrown together quickly because, well, that's how the game went. My sim is about 4 sim hours away from completing his LTW... unless he has to wait until Sunday to collect his royalties officially. Not sure about that. It's still fun, but I don't want it to end so I'm hesitient to play now...

I may have to check out some other challenges. For some reason I always avoided them - I think it's just because I like playing the game by my own rules. I'm non-conformist like that. Time will tell...

I just began this challenge and am having a blast. Unfortunately... I spent more time writing the stories then actually playing the game but it's all fun. I've posted the first two segments so far. I have no idea how many more will follow...

My playable Sim is Dylan Damaged. His lifetime wish is to make $4000 in royalties. sadly, he spends more time at work, playing chess, and repairing things around the house than he actually does writing. That said, he's written two books so far. A sci-fi adventure and a drama... stay tuned for the 3rd installment of the series where I'll hopefully remember to write more about this.
