I recently started work on a very special world. I\'m designing it around the lots of a friend and very talented builder, Hillcrest1414, who recently passed away after suddenly being diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago. This world is one of my tributes to her. I\'ve also built two lots mimicing her style (so far).

Her website is located at http://www.sims3realestate.com and should be up for another month or possibly two. After that her creations will only be available from the Neighborly Sims forum, where they were moved at her request.

Skytasia Update

Skytasia is coming along very nicely, although it\'s fallen a bit behind the expected schedule.

I now have about 60 lots in various states of completion. Most of the homes are still shells at the moment. About 30 lots are completed, mostly the rabbit holes/community lots. 5 homes have been furnished, and 7 of the families for the world have been made. My goal is to have at least 10-20% or so of the homes and Sims, and the core rabbit hole/community lots, available when I release the world. There are 82 residential lots and 41 community lots total in the world. The world itself is finished except for testing and tweaking. The Watena Glade area, at the base of the waterfall, is giving me a bit of trouble.

I\'m still using the tried and trusty v1.11 of the game and the original version of CaW with the one patch they released for it. The unintended side effect of that is that although this world was intended for Ambitions, it\'s pretty much base game compatible at this point.
