The night is upon us...

Finally... the eve of The Sims 3 Release is upon us. It must be said that we have all been waiting, ever so patiently, for this very night to arrive. To kick off the last weekend we\'d ever have without the Sims 3 in our lives, I went to Walmart to see if they had the guide out... they did not. What did happen was mindblowingly awesome for a simmer such as myself. While walking through the electronics section, I found myself surrounded by the all too familiar wall of big screen televisions on display. I turned away from them, ready to walk down the next isle when my ears were pearked up by a glorious tune. Slowly I rotated my body back around to see before me an entire wall of televisions all running an advertisment for the Sims 3. At that very moment, alone in the back of Walmart it was like the Sim Gods had opened the gates to a beautiful place... full of Simming and laughter. It was truly as if a light had been shining down and only on me while I viewed a commercial for the Sims 3 which had not previously graced my eyes. I stood there in awe at this miracle of time and space; the glory that was getting to witness every flat screen high definition televisions all showing me the Sims... showing me the light... Let There Be Sims!!!
The time has come. I am off... soon I will find myself immersed completely in The Sims 3 and most likely not to be heard from... in... well... a bit. ;p
The anticipation... it kills me.

I have been anticipating the Sims 3 since it was first announced last year. It is so exciting that we are fast approaching the final weekend before the release. This is the last weekend ever that we will not have the Sims 3 to entertain our boredom. The day we\'ve all been waiting for is nearing and soon Simmers everywhere will relish in an entirely new, dynamic world. A land where Sims can roam about town, fish up their dinner, and act according to individual personality traits. Where no Simmer will have to wait longer than the initial loading screen. It is a land of endless possibilities that soon we will be able to immerse ourselves in. The anticipation... it kills me, but nothing will smell sweeter than opening a brand new copy of the Sims 3.
