Funny things that happened because of a .nkd file

So I finally got up enough courage to download sims from the exchange right, well little did i know they came with .nkd files. I read on a forum post recently that these cause deformed sims. I didn\'t have any problems until last night when my sim had a baby it looked like a giant leg. Then when it grew up to be a toddler, it looked like a tarantula. Then during another game I was at work and a little girl toddler grew up outside work and turned out to look like a headless body with wavy arms and legs. So while the fun of my sim adult running around naked made me want to keep these files, i decided it was best to uninstall them so i no longer get deformed kids in my game.
