My Story
I am a long time Simmer. I have all the games, ep's and stuff packs for TS1 and TS2. TS3 arrived one day early for me and I have been immersed in it whenever time allows. I am thoroughly enjoying CaSt. It is better than I ever hoped for.
Currently I am looking forward to receiving the first stuff pack due to arrive Friday (or thereabouts) and have also today been pleased to discover that Sim point store cards have made it to the UK.
My hobbies are photography and image manipulation with a bit of gaming and computer maintenance thrown in for good measure. I also like gardening and, as an aside, in case you are interested, I used to show jump horses in my younger days :-)

Starting Anew

Patching the game seems to have created a problem for me inasmuch as my music has disappeared. Ok, actually, that should be my music 'had' disappeared, but, because I decided to take the rather radical approach of deleting my saved games and starting anew my music has returned (for now).
The knock on effect has been that I have quit playing my characters and have instead been focusing on a few EA created ones. Have you met Lucky yet? He wasn't terribly lucky to start with and in my game I have robbed him of a few more of his creature comforts (and his money). It has been interesting to see how he has managed to live off of the land, and get by simply by selling a few bugs (winged variety, not the binary sort!) but he has done so with relative ease. Despite his kleptomaniac tendencies he doesn't even feel the need to pay an uninvited visit to the not so local neighbours either (I guess even he feels he doesn't want for much). He is getting on now, has very few friends and no job. I may be running out of time to have Lucky live up to his name! I feel he should have at least one awesome experience before he becomes a twinkling pixel in the sky.
Perhaps I will find out what that will be next time I play :-)

I have had to modify my story on my page as, despite trying very hard, I could not induce a paragraph/break in the text. Am I just being daft or is this switched off. I did check out a few other pages and they are also just unbroken ramblings too.
