My Romantic Valentine's Day

Once upon a time (you see, all good stories do begin that way), there was a sim named Freki.  She wasn\'t a raving beauty, but she had a certain spark of adventure in her eyes which easily compensated for any failings in her physical beauty.

Freki lived to adventure and had no time for frivolous past-times like romance.  In her life, she traveled to the three corners of the world (France, China and Egypt), braving the heat of firetraps and swimming deep inside divewells to find their secrets.  And romance?  Well, that was something meant for other sims.  She adventured on.

Then it happened - in the depths of a dusty tomb in Egypt, she met the strangest creature she had ever encountered.  His skin was like rough bandages dried in the heat of the tomb - his eyes a black, gaping hole in his face.  At last here was a man of bravery and courage worthy of Freki.  She wandered a bit closer to introduce herself and suddenly the room was reeling.  She collapsed in a sleeping heap upon the floor.  When she awoke, the mystery man was gone as if he had never really been...

Freki went on with her life not fully sure she had actually seen this man, but soon she started seeing him every place she went - in the basement of a nectary in France, in a tiny room in China - he appeared more and more often.  She tried different ways to lure an introduction from him.  She fed him snacks only to have him grab the bag and wander away munching merrily.  He was a fierce creature, so she tried to impress him with her fighting skills only to have him disappear with an agonizing scream.

Then one day, she got an idea - it was Valentine\'s Day, a day of magical love, and her heart ached to find her mystery man.  She quickly assembled one of the sarcophagus\' she had collected in her travels.  Then picking carefully from her collection of canopic jars, she placed 5 of them inside the sarcophagus.  Within minutes, out stepped the mystery man, er, mummy - and after sharing a bag of mummy snacks, they rode off into the sunset to adventure together forever.

Yes, the magic of Valentine\'s Day had prevailed.
