My Story
Why hello there! I'm Jack, but you can call me Draik. Don't ask about the username. Really, don't. I'm 15, live in Australia (no, not a tin shack in the middle of the desert. And no, I don't have that accent either) and have been playing sim games since before I can remember. One of my favourite games when I was younger was SimCity 2000, and then I migrated to the Sims 1 at the start of 2005, when one of my friends told me about this great new game he found. I got the Sims 2 for Christmas, and then proceeded to buy Uni, NL and OFB when I had the money, and all the other packs on their release date. Currently, I own 31 sim games, and am building up my collection until I have them all! Oh, I'm also the SUPREME MEGA-AWESOME RULER OF THE FORUM over at Snooty Sims.
I have a Classic Controller!

Well, on my 15-minuter yesterday, I walked on over to Big W and bought a classic controller for $27. It's really, really good. Now I can play SSB: Brawl properly without having to remember the weird places that the buttons are located. Anyway, next thing I'm going to get is a recharge pack, seeing as we have to change the batteries almost every day now.
The number of Sim games Draik owns is...

I finally got around to making an About Me thingo. I also managed to count all of the sim-related games I own. 31. I find that both impressive and rather sad. Anyway, I have to go to work in a little while. 5 hour shift means a 15 minute break! I guess I'll just go look in EB Games and Big W for more sim games I guess. *insert giggling smiley here* Since EB is having a HUGE end-of-financial-year-sale, I've bought 3 Wii-related stuff in the past two weeks alone. MySims is a really great game, although I think my sister likes it more than I do. Super Smash Brothers Brawl, however, pwns all the other games we currently have, which only totals 5. Next thing I'm going to buy will probably be another Wiimote, we only have the one and having to take off and put on my black silicon covers is getting really annoying whenever I want to play a game. I'll also probably get a wireless nunchuck and one of those awesomesauce controllers, so I can play SSB: Brawl without having to remember where all the buttons are. I guess I'll also get the new Wii Sport game, because I really want a Motion Plus adapter, and buying the game with it seems the logical thing to do.
Since I'm finally off the newbie-probation preiod at work, I'm getting much better hours, and a pay rise! So that new computer is just inches away from my eager hands. In the meantime, I'll spend small amounts of my well-earned cash on Wii stuff and obtaining the last of the sim games I need. At the moment, I have to get: The Sims Life Stories, The Sims Pet Stories, MySims (PC), SimCity Societies (deluxe version), and well, that's about it. Although I'm also looking out for Spore Creepy and Cute. Though I'll probably get that when I go out and buy Galactic Adventures on its release date.
So long!

Well, I guess I failed miserably at the whole 'entry a day' thing, so yeah.
Anyway, I am so tired at the moment, so ima go to bed.
Adios!

First off, hi! And welcome to my blog. Anyone familiar with draik12 from either MTS2 or TS2.com, or Draik from Snooty Sims, that's me! I'll try to update my blog every couple of days or so, unlike my previous attempts at starting up an online journal.
At the moment, it's 12:30pm on the 2nd, and I'm really struggling to contain a mixture of excitement, boredom and fear. Yeah, I have to wait two more days to get the game, which, despite being totally unfair, is the perfect date.
As well as being the last day of our half-yearly exams, we have the following Monday off! I'm very excited, but I really don't know why. The game doesn't look that impressive, but I guess I'm just caught up in the all-round happiness of it all. Until next time,
Draik.
