My Story:
I started simming with The Sims 2. I missed out on the original sims game. I was mostly interested in building homes with The Sims 2. From there I moved on to stories, movies, and finally actually playing the game. :)

Designing and building homes is still one of my favorite things to do, but I think I will be doing more playing and movie making with this next generation of The Sims.

I will be remaking a lot of my favorite homes from TS2 into TS3 versions. There might be a few new and original ones though. I don't put CC in homes I upload, nor do I download from the exchange to get CC.

Top 10 simming moments.......or...Simming: A History.

POSTED ON 12/26/10 01:16 AM

10: Amy Li's Gift (TS2)
I don't have a pic since its long been deleted. But I was playing Amy's mom who was giving Amy's toddler sister a birthday party. Amy was visiting. Since her mom didn't need the baby stuff anymore I gave it to Amy as a gift. It was so funny to see Amy walking around with baby thought bubbles after she received the gift. I swear she looked a bit shocked by it all.

9: Police Car Fire (TS3)
This would probably rate higher if there were more to it, but it was quick and nevertheless, shocking. I had a glitch that made my sims cop car driver through the living room, crash into the kitchen and start a fire. Perhaps EA put it in as a very rare event.

8: Javy Lupin: Vampire (TS2)
Javy Lupin, single child to A CAS father and a EA default mother. Her parents became werewolves. After they passed, Javi inherited their house and savings, bought a large house and became a vampire. She then began collecting several of the neighborhoods most attractive sims to be her vampire familiars. They took care of the house during the day and kept her amused at night. I had a great time with them all.

7: Edna Mode (TS3)
While considering which one of my sims would become the Stylist for Bridgeport I was hit by a sudden idea: How about Edna Mode as a stylist? Ridiculous. She's so tiny. I'll do it!

have had so much fun with my young version of E in Bridgeport. And I really enjoyed creating her house.

6: Grindelwald Dorm (TS2)

I made a huge dorm for TS2 University. It was filled with aspiration and career reward objects that helped my uni students build the skills they needed. It was much more interesting than having them read books.

Uni became so much more fun while playing in this dorm.

I followed it up with a Greek house. My usual approach to Uni was two years in the dorm, two years in the Greek house.

5: Humanized Servos and Simbots (TS2 and TS3)
I'll just throw these two together. I used SimPE in TS2 to turn my metal Servos into Androids. The first thing I did when I got Ambitions was to do the same thing to Simbots. I've been nagging at EA to do this for the longest. Maybe they made it easy to do it or maybe I just got lucky with Twallan's mod, but at least I have them.

Meaghan is my favorite Simbot--especially since I now have a mod that stops "A Simbot!"

4: Lisa Bunch (TS3)
Lisa Bunch represents the first time I really began having fun playing TS3. I had a fun story scenario of her being a middle glass sim with upper class ambitions and having Vita Alto taking her under her wing. Vita has her own ambitions and Lisa is her tool.

It all started with story progression moving Miraj Alvi in with the Langeraks to be with Kaylynn. I noticed that Miraj also had Lisa Bunch as a love interest. So I sent him over to flaunt his love in her face. Lisa didn't care much for that and wanted some revenge, so I've been playing her story ever since.

3: Cosa Nostra and Trevor Syndicate (TS2)
These two were my most maniacal sims ever. They were bounty hunters. I was highly annoyed by trashcan kickers and stalkers in TS2. So whenever a certain sim gave my sim trouble and my sim wanted to see their ghost I would hire Cosa or Trevor to take care of the problem.

I had every intention of bringing Cosa and Trevor over to TS3, but they simply aren't needed because TS3 sims are boring and don't create much trouble. They can barely remember they were slapped a few minutes ago let alone a few days. The "Declare a nemesis" feature is a joke. If they really were a nemesis I would definitely need to employ the services of Cosa and Trevor to deal with them.

2: Friends (TS2)
Fun, fun fun, and will not be able to do it justice in TS3 due to half-baked apartment living. I made the cast from Friends and had a great time making up my on story lines for the characters. I made Central Perk (something else that can't quite be done in a satisfying way yet.) and their apartment building with Monica and Rachel living across the hall from Joey and Chandler. Ross and Phoebe had their own apartments, Phoebe in another building.

1: The Four Penny Curse (TS2)
This is probably why I am still playing The Sims.

Before I became a player of the Sims 2 I was mainly a builder. Then I tried stories. The Four Penny Curse was my first serious sim story that became a series. I won't get into the story, but I later went on to play the characters in the game and just enjoyed them so much since I knew their characters from the story. I made them over as children with parents, played them through Uni and then as adults with families of their own.

Story pics

Their love interests.

I brought them over to TS3 when we got World Adventures, but I couldn't do much with them other than travel.

World Adventures was perfect for them and brought features that related to my the original story of these girls. Traits has made that even more so because I can give them personalities to match the story. TS2 couldn't do that.

Wow, 500 friends milestone today.

Yep, 500 hundred of them.
And I\'m putting in the Omega Platypus logo because...well, just because.
