How Easily We Forget

GEPOSTET AM 27.07.2011 19:00

I am venting here, to keep it off the forums. It cracks me up when someone claims to be a long time simmer and says things like \"Sims 2 was never this buggy\", \"My sims 2 game never had glitches\", \"Sims 2 didn\'t need all these patches\". Well these obviously aren\'t as \"long-time\" as they think they are. Because the truth is, Sims 2 was just as buggy, (and I would venture to say Bon Voyage bugs took the cake of all EP\'s through 1,2 & 3).Also, this is just a game. No game is ever bug free. So I wish everyone would just calm down and take things in perspective. But simmers who can\'t sim lose their minds. I know this, I have been there a time or 2 myself. So off to the forums to try and help more unhappy simmers get back to simming.Vent is over....

Well, I am going to make this story progression jump, I SWEAR!

I love the idea of the neighborhood moving and continuing to grow and mature around my sim.  I just have a REAL control freak issue, and it IS REALLY hard to let this happen.  I am playing 2 families and going from one to the other 2-3 times through the day.  Making it hard to complete wants that reset every time I switch.

\r\n

So today I am starting out with the attitude of just LET iT GO.  And I may need to get drunk to relax and let my simmies sim, but I am going to do it, and see what happens.

\r\n

When I say I have Sims control freak issues, let me say, I have in 9-10 years of playing ever really let my sim free will themselves for ore a than half a sim day.  I know that is extreme sounding but true.  I pause the game to do everything, because I have this insane need to not only see it, be involved, but control even minute details.  Which is also BTW, making me a alittle OCD about managing Sims 3 at work.

Maybe I need a twelve step program????
