Ok, I'm sure you guys know that the recent patch did anything else BUT fix our games. Well, I thought I was the lucky one without problems, since I wasn't!
I had started to notice small bugs while playing a new family I created, it started when my Sim cleared the fridge of spoiled food. (Yes I also have the problem of food going off!)
First of all, my two Sims adopted a baby in order to start generation's rolling in, (Same sex couple) but both Sims could not work on thier relationship with the baby, at first I didn't notice and turned the other cheek thinking it was me overreacting, but sadly it wasn't.
The spoiled food glitch is minor really, my Sim tried to empty the fridge but the trash bad dissapeared, leaving my poor Sim with a glitched arm. I hope EA is on the case fixing these bugs, I'm sure if I carried on playing my game more glitches would appear.
Please fix these bugs EA! Our paitence is wearing thin!
Hey everyone! Guess it's been a long time since I blogged, you know how it is, being busy getting used to the change which is Sims 3 and now a new EP is out (for me in the uk) in a few days.
I'm already preparing my Sims for all the travelling they are going to do, I can't wait to get my male Sim to propose to his girlfriend in France! Anway I really have to figure out how to work the story editor on here, it would be good to tell a story of my Sims adventures! If there's anyone reading my blogs, feel free to add me as a friend as I will to you. Add in some messages about how to work the story editor.

I uploaded EA's premade and rabbithole lots today, in just you guys (and me) require an extra copy. I tend backup a lot, and my simpage came in handy. Some of the lots I haven't uploaded yet and will get done when I have some time!

I finally have my official disk! I installed and played around a bit to see if it's working and no problems! I think I was worrying over nothing really, riverview looks great in all my five minutes playing. I'm looking forward to creating a character and not just a 'test sim'

I didn't get round to posting all day due to the fact that I've been engrossed on the US forum of this site and a few others, reading about all the bugs and secureROM. There is now only Thursday to go and then the UK release is here! I'm excited that I will finally get to experience The Sims 3 like American Simmers but I can't help but feel worried.
Firstly I've read many posts about the Story Progression in the game not working even when switched off, single sims having babies and families being deleted etc. For me this is really scary. I plan to do a Legacy based on my family in Real Life, I don't need to find out that my family have 'moved out' when I resume gameplay. I hope there is a patch!
I've also read about on various Window operating systems that the disk drive will not reconise the game disk. My PC is well over the high ended mark and I have a DVD rom drive that has run the Sims 2 without any problems, will The Sims 3 run with no problems? That's for me to find out when I come back home from the store with my copy. I shall be very upset if things go wrong.
Well that's how I feel, I do hope that EA find a way to sort these errors out. I wouldn't want The Sims 3 to get a 'fail' factor from myself and other people. I seem to think that The Sims 3 shows promise and I will think that until I get to play for myself.
