Well, I\'ve totally become addicted to the Sims3 and usually end up sitting here till  4 or 5 inna morning. *sigh*  and sleeping till like 2pm in the afternoon. Not a good thing. Makes me feel like crapola. 

The first update came out yesterday, unfortunately I did not find out about it till a few minutes ago, so have not had the chance to find out if my sims are going to sleep any faster.. or if i have to continue sitting here 10 minutes while they sleep.

I think the neighborhoods are great in the new game.. beauty wise and how easy it is to decorate and build. Everything always looks so beautiful when I am done decorating a house. Though I think I became a little addicted to changing colors, patterns and all that good stuff.. and sometimes go a little over-board. I turn the tubs gold and the backsplash red. hah.

I do tend to get bored with sims easily though and the days tend to go so quickly while their sleep seems to take so long. If a sim gets off work and is dead tired and can\'t do anything besides sleep afterwards. ..they bore me and I move on to a new Sim family. Booo to me. haha.

Well, I opened Sims3 tonight with a child-like abandon. I wanted to play tonight so bad I could taste it. Ha.. sure you know the feeling.

The game finally opens and everything seems to be going okie dokie. hah.. when lo and behold, I try to find my simmie i\'ve been playing since I got the game.. ALMOST a week ago and much to my terror I could not find her anywhere. 

Her house was empty and when I clicked on it.. it said a meteor had hit it and I could either try to clean it up or play the lot \'normally\'. Well, after trying everything.. it was her house alright but she was gone. Her kitchen was still in the house but everything else gone gone gone and she in the sim bin. *sigh* all her skills, wishes, friends.. everything, GONE.

I felt traumatized and angry and immediately shut off the sims and went into the forums to try to find a clue.

I found the backup files of my game and changed some names and this and that but nothing I did would bring her back with house and skills intact.

So what can you do? Kill EA? hahah.. thats a good start. Decided to start over. Created a mother/daughter team and will build them up and see what happens.  I guess it was a reminder.. don\'t get hooked on your characters. They are just simmie.. even though sometimes it is so hard to remember that.

Well all, it seems as if the long awaited Sims3 is FINALLY here.  Most of us have been waiting for this for a long long time. 

I guess at this point and time I do not know if I am happy or sad about that. I know I miss the Sims2 and all my packs, especially college and growing fruits and stuff like that. 

But I\'ve missed it for a long time now.  I got a new computer like a year ago that did not come with a graphics card that was compatible with the sims. booo .. so was unable to play on this new computer, though I did take the time to install it and all my game packs, etc. I would even attempt to play it on this time but more times than not it would just crash.. over and over again.

I was excited to see that the Sims3 would be compatible with my card and though it is, yes.. the graphics are definitely lamo. *sigh*

I\'ve seen a lot of complaints in the forums regarding the Sims3 and some of them I can understand. I was ****** as well when I got my so called \"Collectors Edition\" with all the cheap stuff in it.. more than anything, the so called guide that was supposed to be in there. I guess for the extra 30 bucks I paid for the stupid thing, I figured at least they could of done is throw in a lousy 10 dollar book.. since I bascially paid that extra money for a crappy 2 gb memory stick that is so cheap it probably cost them 3 dollars to make. grrr

Oh well, I guess I don\'t want to focus on the negative but a lot of what EA is doing is kind of crappy..especially to their long time fan base, people like me who started buying their crap when they were just producing the sims and now they want me to pay a dang dollar to download a shirt.. something that should of came with my 80 dollar collectiors edition anyway.
