I didn\'t get round to posting all day due to the fact that I\'ve been engrossed on the US forum of this site and a few others, reading about all the bugs and secureROM. There is now only Thursday to go and then the UK release is here! I\'m excited that I will finally get to experience The Sims 3 like American Simmers but I can\'t help but feel worried.

Firstly I\'ve read many posts about the Story Progression in the game not working even when switched off, single sims having babies and families being deleted etc. For me this is really scary. I plan to do a Legacy based on my family in Real Life, I don\'t need to find out that my family have \'moved out\' when I resume gameplay. I hope there is a patch!

I\'ve also read about on various Window operating systems that the disk drive will not reconise the game disk. My PC is well over the high ended mark and I have a DVD rom drive that has run the Sims 2 without any problems, will The Sims 3 run with no problems? That\'s for me to find out when I come back home from the store with my copy. I shall be very upset if things go wrong.

Well that\'s how I feel, I do hope that EA find a way to sort these errors out. I wouldn\'t want The Sims 3 to get a \'fail\' factor from myself and other people. I seem to think that The Sims 3 shows promise and I will think that until I get to play for myself.

I did a stupid thing this morning. I woke up extra early accidently thinking that the game was out in the UK, in excitement I fell out of my bed and hurt my leg and head on the way down! Only when I looked on my Iphone did I realise that it was America that would get their game today! I saved both the American and the UK dates in my calendar so I could count the days lol.

Not the mention that my Cousin who lives in America, keeps on sending me pictures of his Sims by email. I\'ve always known that was a show off! Ah well, only a couple more days for the UK. A few nice emails from this site and the friends I have added would be welcome right now :)

Congrats America for your Sims 3 release! God knows I\'m VERY jealous right now!

As you know the last day of May was yesterday, (Sunday) I was very busy doing errands, sunbathing etc. Well yesterday I was in for a BIG surprise when I went to hang out with my former best friend.

Like me, my friends are Sim addicts, we are all planning to have a small (Sims) party at my house on the UK release, we will attempt to bake a cake in the form of a plumbbob while talking about our experiences from The Sims 1, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, followed by me installing my Official copy so we can all share the experience. All together there are five of us who love the Sims series and decided to meet up at my so-called friends house in order to check up various forums and plan which Sim we will be making when our copies release in store. We are all getting the collector\'s Edition since we are such hardcore fans.

Imagine my surprise when the rest of us got there, my former friend (who shall be nameless) said that he had a surprise for us and we would need to wait until he had used the bathroom. So like good friends that we are, we waited outside his computer room while he went to the bathroom.

From outside the door, we could hear which sounded like The Sims 3 theme tune coming out of his speakers. We thought \'Oh well, he must be on the EA site listening to the Sims  soundtrack.\' and didn\'t think that much about it.

Finally, he came out of the bathroom and showed us the \'surprise\' It turned out that he had The Sims 3 \'Bad Edition\' which we called it. Most of my friends were discusted and left. I was the one who had to start an argument about it, and made things worse. Before he had a chance to install it however. I reached over and deleted the file, and told him that although EA aren\'t in the best light at the moment, that it didn\'t give him right to do this. I ended up going home, feeling pleased at what I had done, but upset that I\'d now lost a friend who I had known forever.

Yes, I\'am quite depressed at the moment, and only hope the release date comes soon to cheer me up.
