hey!! Dont hate sims. First go to the help page and click "having trouble playing the sims 3?" then it will say, 1. Click on this link to use our System Requirements Checker. 2. Click on the Perform Your Check Now button. click where it says link. click under where it says system requirement checker on the perform check now button. Then just hit start the check. if a pop up comes up about downloading somthing, DOWNLOAD IT!! After it just see what you need to fix to let the game work!!
